Job Description:
The Front of House Team Member is a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented individual. As a key part of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing prompt and courteous service in line with Willibald brand standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about the hospitality industry, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is dedicated to creating a positive dining experience for guests. This includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, or special dietary needs.
- Order Management: Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system, and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Food & Beverage Delivery: Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all orders are correct and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
- Table Maintenance: Monitor tables during service to ensure that guests have everything they need, clear dishes and reset tables for the next seating.
- Payment Processing: Present the check to guests, process payments, and handle cash or credit transactions in accordance with the restaurant’s policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience for guests.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle high-pressure situations with grace.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods and carry heavy trays, occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Smart Serve Certification or be willing to obtain one upon being hired.
Compensation and Benefits:

At Willibald Farm Distillery & Brewery, we’re looking for a RTD Development Manager to lead the charge in creating bold, innovative new products and improving our current offerings. You’ll be the mastermind behind new RTD and spirit offerings that will excite our loyal customers and wow new ones. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment and loves collaborating with a passionate team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead R&D Strategy: Develop and execute the R&D strategy for both our RTD and distillery operations, with a focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability.
- Product Development: Oversee the creation of new spirits and cocktails, from initial concept to final release, ensuring they meet market demands and quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve existing production processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability, while maintaining our commitment to sustainability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality control, and marketing teams to ensure that products align with company goals and brand identity.
- Trend Spotting & Market Research: Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences to drive innovation and maintain Willibald’s competitive edge.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the RTD program budget, including resource allocation, testing, and sourcing of ingredients.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in Spirit and/or RTD production, R&D, product development, or related fields, preferably within the beverage industry (brewing, distilling, or both).
- Education: Degree in Food Science, Brewing, Distilling, Chemistry, or related field is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in both brewing and distilling processes, with a deep understanding of ingredient science, fermentation, and aging methods.
- Creativity & Innovation: A strong ability to conceptualize, prototype, and refine new products. Passion for pushing the envelope on flavor profiles and product concepts.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing and leading a team, driving performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
