We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team at Willibald Farm Distillery and Brewery. In this key role, you will oversee front-of-house operations, lead staff, maintain high standards of food and beverage service, and ensure a smooth, efficient, and compliant operation. A strong focus on collaboration and teamwork is essential, as you’ll work closely with both management and staff to create exceptional guest experiences and uphold our commitment to excellence and safety.

Duties & Requirements:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service.
- Monitor dining areas and kitchen activities to ensure food and service quality.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock usage.
- Implement and monitor daily operational checklists to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and organization.
- Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding new team members
- Supervise and mentor front-of-house staff to maintain performance standards.
- Ensure an excellent guest experience by overseeing service quality and handling any issues promptly and professionally.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints to guarantee satisfaction.
- Foster a welcoming and friendly environment to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Support large-party bookings and respond to reservation inquiries via phone and email.
- Handle cash management, end-of-day reconciliations as needed.
- Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Promote and maintain a safe, respectful, and positive workplace culture.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth service
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- High school diploma required; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an asset.
- Valid SmartServe certification required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house processes.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem-solver.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:
• $18-21/hr based on experience
