Job Overview
The Front of House Team Member is a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented individual. As a key part of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing prompt and courteous service in line with Willibald
brand standards.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the hospitality industry, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is dedicated to creating a positive dining experience for guests. This
includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, or special dietary needs.
- Order Management: Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system, and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Food & Beverage Delivery: Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional
manner, ensuring that all orders are correct and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
- Table Maintenance: Monitor tables during service to ensure that guests have everything they need, clear dishes and reset tables for the next seating.
- Payment Processing: Present the check to guests, process payments, and handle cash or credit transactions in accordance with the restaurant’s policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience for guests.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health
and safety regulations and restaurant policies.

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle high-pressure situations with grace.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods and carry heavy trays,
occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.

*Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Smart Serve Certification or be willing
to obtain one upon being hired.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented retail representative to join our farm retail team, specializing in alcohol sales. This role involves introducing and educating customers on the Willibald brand and product lines as well as providing exceptional customer service ensuring compliance with all alcohol-related sales regulations in Ontario. The ideal candidate will be someone who flourishes in a team environment, possesses excellent communication skills, has a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering an outstanding retail experience for their customers.

Role Activities:

The retail sales role will be a part-time position and will be responsible for:

  • Report directly to the Retail & Events Manager
  • Educating and introducing customers to the Willibald Brand and product lines
  • Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in selecting Willibald beverages according to their preferences and needs
  • Providing enhanced product knowledge and product recommendations, including food and drink pairings
  • Operating the cash register and processing transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Follow relevant Alcohol regulations in Ontario, including age verification, etc. 
  • Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with restocking as required
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the retail locations, including regular cleaning of displays and storage areas
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve sales goals, find procedural improvements and efficiencies and provide excellent customer service that is always improving
  • Staying informed about current releases, special offers and new products to effectively promote sales in-line with company objectives
  • Handling customer inquiries, complaints and returns professionally and promptly, seeking assistance from management when necessary.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Based in Waterloo Region or surrounding areas
  • Previous retail experience preferred, particularly in alcohol sales or a similar field
  • Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, including beer, ready-to-drink cocktails and spirits is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy in cash handling and inventory management is a must
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and SMART Serve certified.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes and cases of product
  • Willingness to commute to Ayr and other Willibald outlets (St Jacobs, Kitchener, Cambridge) for shifts.

Sous Chef – Full Time
Willibald Pizza | Galt, Cambridge, ON

Compensation: $21–22/hour + shared tip-out program

Willibald Pizza is a busy, high-volume pizza shop located in Galt, Cambridge. Our program is built around naturally fermented dough, premium ingredients, and a hybrid pizza style cooked in deck ovens. We are committed to doing things properly—from multi-day dough fermentation and house-made components to a focused menu driven by quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, enjoys leading by example, and takes pride in maintaining high standards while helping develop a strong team culture.

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Chef and leadership team to support daily operations, maintain consistency, assist with training, and help drive the continued growth of our pizza program.
