JOB OPENINGS
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate head brewer to join our team at our growing farm brewery. We would love to hear from you if you feel qualified for the role and want to be a part of the Willibald team.
Duties & Requirements
- Beer production management; all aspects from raw material handling and processing to packaging
- Development of new recipes
- Operating, maintaining, and cleaning all process equipment including brewhouse and cellar tanks
- Management and documentation of standard brewers metrics such as pH, gravity, temperature, etc
- Operating canning line & bottling equipment
- Management of cellar hands, packaging team, and assistant brewers
- Commitment to safety principles and guidelines
- Responsible management of chemicals and hazardous materials
- Forklift operation
- Physical ability to lift 25kg regularly, move up and down ladders, stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work weekends periodically
- Reporting directly to head of operations
Experience
- 5 + years experience of experience in production brewing is required
- Formal technical brewing education is an asset
Compensation
- $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Experience
- 2 + years experience of experience in production brewing
- Formal brewing experience is an asset
- Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of the brewing process and packaging process

- $49,325 - $52,125 per year

Willibald Farm is a thriving farm distillery, brewery, and restaurant located in Waterloo Region, just outside of the small village of Ayr. Our on-site restaurant focuses on true farm-to-table dining. We use a mix of traditional and modern techniques with a strong focus on local ingredients, our on farm beef cattle, and a menu diverse to compliment our wide variety of premium spirits, beer, and
cocktails made on-site.

Requirements & Skills
• Strong personal skills, highly motivated, and creative
• A passion for farm to table/scratch cooking
• Culturally driven
• A demonstrated commitment to a career in cooking, as evident from relevant
education and/or cooking experience
• Knowledge of kitchen safety, and general kitchen sanitation compliance
Compensation:
• $18-21/hr based on experience
